| This study was conducted to assess the consumer acceptance of ultra rice in both rural and urban households in ten different locations in and around the Dhaka city, Bangladesh. Ultra rice is a manufactured grain made from rice flour, selected micronutrients and stabilizers that resembles to milled rice in size and shape. When eaten mixed with normal rice at a ratio of 1:100 before cooking, it was found efficacious in improving the micronutrient status of population including children, adolescents, and pregnant and nursing women in several studies. |
